Zisankho zazikulu zidachitika ku Zambia pa 12 Ogasiti 2021 kuti asankhe Purezidenti ndi National Assembly. Hakainde Hichilema wa United Party for National Development adasankhidwa kukhala purezidenti, kugonjetsa Edgar Lungu wogwirizira wa Patriotic Front.[1][2]

Onse khumi ndi asanu ndi mmodzi omwe adalembetsa kuti adzalembetse nawo upurezidenti. Mpikisanowu ukuyembekezeka kukhala mpikisano wapakati pa Edgar Lungu wa Patriotic Front ndi Hakainde Hichilema wa United Party for National Development. Onse adapikisana pazisankho za 2015, zomwe Lungu adapambana ndi 50.35% mpaka 47.63%
